My terrace shares its parapet with next door. Where does the paint stop?
Wherever you and your neighbour agree it stops — and it is worth agreeing before we start rather than on the day. On a continuous parapet run there is often no physical break to work to, so the sensible line is a mortar joint or a downpipe, and the two schemes either meet deliberately or contrast deliberately. We are happy to have that conversation with both of you when we quote.
Can you paint a converted warehouse with double-height walls?
That depends on the wall height, and it is the first thing to establish rather than the last. A lot of the converted stock here runs well past what a ladder safely covers, and reaching it is a question of what fits through the door and what the floor will carry. We look at that when we quote — and where a space needs height access we are not set up for, we will tell you that plainly instead of taking it on and finding out.
Can shopfront work happen without closing the shop?
Usually. Most of what we do on a Crown Street frontage is sequenced so the shop trades through it — preparation and cutting-in early, the disruptive part done in one contained stint, and the footpath left clear and clean at opening. What we will not do is leave a half-prepared frontage facing the street over a weekend.
